Radiotherapy is now characterized by greater safety and accuracy as with the IDENTIFY system it is possible to guide radiotherapy based on the surface of the patient (Surface Guidance Radiotherapy – SGRT). The patient is placed in the treatment position based on his surface and his surface is constantly monitored throughout the session. Concurrently, the risk of human error is minimized, thanks to the following unique features of the IDENTIFY system:

i. ensuring patient identification
ii. selection of the right area and right treatment location, with high accuracy
iii. radiotherapy accessories verification and
iv. ensuring correct radiotherapy accessories positioning at the treatment couch.

IDENTIFY can be used with optimal results for SGRT radiotherapy, for complex techniques such as Deep Inspiration Breath Hold (DIBH) technique, as it detects the patient’s deep inhalation and allows the guidance of the treatment, thanks to the use of a special visual coaching device (VCD).

  • Easy patient check-in
Patients can check themselves in using a contactless palm reader and are then automatically queued to your Oncology Information System (OIS). The patient gets their appointment location and time and eliminates the need for barcodes.
  • Treatment room setup
Quickly reproduce accessory setup using imaging suite information and augmented reality navigation. Patient notes and images are easily viewed, and verification is streamlined.
  • Patient-centered orthopedic setup
The patient is verified on-site with the contactless palm reader or RFID, then assists with self-positioning as your team uses augmented reality to guide and verify orthopedic setup.
  • Surface-guided positioning at isocenter
Position the patient using DICOM RT structure set or other surface information. Augmented reality assists with positioning, using manual table guidance with six degrees of freedom. Switch between free breathing and breath holding with ease.
  • Surface-guided intra-fraction motion management
Monitor the patient’s surface for motion against your preferred standard. Our intuitive interface and advanced coaching mode help your teams treat with confidence and help the patients tolerate treatments better.
