Meduvent Standard, Ventilator
MANUFACTURER :
PRODUCT CATEGORY :
  • Transport Ventilators
  • MEDUVENT Standard allows ventilation independently of oxygen cylinders. The turbine-driven emergency ventilator requires no external gas supply and maintains ventilation for an average of 8 hours on one battery charge. The patient can still be supplied with supplemental oxygen at any time, with all the oxygen benefiting the patient. Using the globally compatible oxygen inlet tube enables you to generate concentrations of 21 % to 100 %.

Long distances and transport times can be a logistical challenge for emergency response in remote areas. In such situations, the battery runtime of a medical device is just as critical as its oxygen supply. Especially in challenging emergency situations, it should be possible to concentrate fully on the patient without worrying about the technology. MEDUVENT Standard allows ventilation independently of oxygen cylinders.

It operates with a rechargeable battery, which ensures up to 8 hours of electrical autonomy in continuous operation. The battery is charged at a voltage of 12 V, which allows it to be powered from an ambulance network, but also from a city network voltage of 100V-240V, 50/60Hz.

With the possibilities offered by the MEDUVENT Standard, it meets the most difficult ventilation requirements of patients of all ages, from infants and toddlers to adults. For this purpose, it has specialized programs for adults, children and infants (Adult, pediatric, infant).

The MEDUVENT Standard has modern ventilation types, in particular:

    • IPPV – Intermittent positive pressure volume controlled ventilation
    • CPAP – Continuous positive airway pressure ventilation
    • MANUAL – Manual ventilation during CPR or as a substitute for resuscitation bag ventilation (Ambou)
    • SIMV- Synchronised intermittent mandatory volume controlled ventilation, (available as an option)
    • S-IPPV- Synchronised positive pressure volume controlled ventilation (available as an option)
    • CPAP+PS – Continuous positive airway pressure ventilation with positive pressure support (available as an option)
    • PRVC+PS – Pressure controlled ventilation with guaranteed breathing volume and assist pressure (available as an option)

Combined with the MEDUtrigger device which fully controls manual ventilation of the patient, while enabling the rescuer to place both hands on the patient’s mask as recommended by the new emergency medicine guidelines (Double-C grip).
The MEDUVENT Standard ventilator is small and weight (dimensions: 206 mm x 137 mm x 130 mm, weight: 2.1 kg), making it easy to carry, and has a secure fastening system on a stretcher/patient bed frame.
The ventilator is resistant to mechanical stresses, waterproof (IP54), unaffected by electromagnetic interference from the environment and operates reliably under the following conditions:

    • Temperature ranges from -18 to +50°C
    • Humidity range 5% to 95%, without condensation
    • Atmospheric pressure 540 hPa to 1100 hPa
    • Altitude from sea level -500 m to 5,000 m

    It complies with the following standards: EN 60601-1, EN 60601-1-2, EN 60601-1-6, EN 60601-1-8, EN 60601-1-12, EN 62366-1, EN 1789, EN 13718-1. EN 794-3, ISO 10651-3, ISO 10993-1, RTCA DO-160 G & MIL-STD 810 G.
