In exclusive collaboration with the leading Linear Accelerator Manufacturer VARIAN MEDICAL SYSTEMS, we provide complete radiotherapy-brachytherapy solutions including, amongst others: installation of the supplied equipment, training of hospital personnel in the use of equipment, radiation protection and general configuration of the installation site (and in several occasions, even constructing the radiation proof building that will accommodate the supplied radiotherapy equipment).
Our company undertook the supply and installation of medical and hosting equipment at the newly-built General Hospital of Thira with a total capacity of 44 beds.
Within just 5 months, the supply and installation of the medical and hosting equipment for the FILOKTITIS Recovery and Rehabilitation Center was successfully completed. Training of the medical and nursing staff in the operation of the installed equipment was also carried out. The FILOKTITIS multi-purpose center operates in accordance with international standards and ensures the physical, mental and social rehabilitation and reintegration of underaged and adult patients. It has 125 beds for both in-hospital and day-care patients, as well as full facilities for monitoring, treatment and training of visiting patients.
The Turn-Key Projects Department of our company successfully carried out the project of the complete medical and hosting equipment of the mobile hospital unit sent by the Greek Army to the capital of Afghanistan. Within shorter time than the conventional, our company handed over all the equipment and our technicians travelled to Kabul to set the machinery in full operation and get the medical and nursing staff trained for their use on the spot. The Mobile Military Hospital of the Greek Army in Kabul included two complete surgeries, an intensive care unit, an emergency department, a resuscitation unit, as well as an X-ray and a microbiological laboratory.
