On Sunday, April 29th, our employees, accepting the invitation of the non-profit organization “Make a Wish Greece”, will become children again, and take a different walk. A bright and hopeful walk of love and hope.

On the occasion of the World Wish Day, we will walk along many other volunteers in order to reinforce the organization's effort to fulfill the wishes of children battling critical illnesses.

Starting from the Concert Hall of Thessaloniki at 6:00 pm and ending at Zongolopoulos Umbrellas at Nea Paralia, we will all walk on the steps of Chris's first wish, who became a police officer for one day, on April 29th, 1980, and inspired the creation of the Make-A-Wish Organization.

In PAPAPOSTOLOU, we believe that if the wishes of these children are fulfilled, their lives will be filled with light and joy, giving them the strength they need to defeat the darkness that surrounds them and become winners over the battles of life.

PAPAPOSTOLOU, the largest Greek company for the disposal and technical support of high-tech medical equipment, has been continuously taking care of our health, which is the most valuable asset, and has dedicated itself to securing it through the industry's leading equipment and the services it offers 24/7, for over 100 years.

Due to the sense of the corporate social responsibility that distinguishes it, its support for Women's Health and its awareness of prevention issues, PAPAPOSTOLOU participates as a sponsor and supporter of the sail for pink event organized by Alma Zois, on Saturday May 5 and from 10:00 to 14:00 at the mobile unit of A. NTH THEAGENIO, by providing two beds for the free of charge preventative breast examination clinic for uninsured women.

The goal of the event is to encourage women with breast cancer, to inform the general public about it, to demystify it, and to design programs that aim at changing the attitude of young people and adopting preventive behavior. Through this action, the company PAPAPOSTOLOU proves once again its anthropocentric character and reminds us that prevention saves lives. Because breast cancer, if diagnosed early, it can be defeated.

On 5-6 of May, we will be in the sail for pink event, actively supporting the fight for prevention and early diagnosis, and urging women of all ages to create a first line of defense against breast cancer
