The defibrillator-monitor MEDUCORE Standard2, from the German manufacturer Weinmann Emergency Medical Technology GmbH + CO. KG, is used as a portable external defibrillator with monitoring functions in a patient who shows symptoms of cardiac arrest or arrhythmias in the heart rhythm. Besides, it can also be used to transport the patient between hospitals and other facilities by ambulance, airplane, helicopter or even ship. It is also used when the measured values of the measurement functions built into the device are to be recorded. MEDUCORE Standard2 is suitable for use in patients of all ages who require emergency treatment.
MEDUCORE Standard2 is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery, which ensures electrical autonomy of up to approximately 4 hours in continuous monitoring mode of the patient’s hemodynamic parameters or up to 350 defibrillations at 200 joules. It has small dimensions (W: 242 mm x H: 137 mm x D: 130 mm) and a weight of 2.75 Kg including the battery.
